Meet Ms. Sam

Ms.Sam is absolutely thrilled to be joining the RAD team for 2024-2025! A Seattle native, Ms.Sam started in dance classes at the age of 5, then went on to audition for her first musical at age 7. It wasn't long before she was bit by the teaching bug and found herself teaching theatre classes, camps, and workshops to the younger students as soon as she got the chance. After attending a high school which allowed her to focus on theatre performance and theatre business administration, she found herself moving to Florida in 2016 - where she focused on her studies to become a Registered Behavioral Technician and worked with students diagnosed with autism. Ms.Sam's passion for teaching theatre was recently reignited by a local theatre in Georgia, where she directed Jungle Book Kids and Finding Nemo Kids - nearly doubling the programs size in one short season. She is so grateful for the opportunity to bring musical theatre and drama into the lives of Wildlight and Amelia Island students! Favorite roles include Ulla in The Producers, The Cat in the Hat in Seussical, Morticia Addams in the Addams Family, Ariel in Footloose, Directing Fallout-A Play, and upcoming Sally Bowles in Amelia Musical Playhouses production of Cabaret in September of 2024.
